Many of the NewNet 66 schools have purchased Juniper NetScreen filewalls during the last 18 months. With network security becoming a real challenge during the last year, firewall management has become a focal point. The links below will provide you with the "basic" information presented in laymans terms required to manage your Juniper NetScreen firewall. The links will be updated in installments and this tutorial assumes you know how to log into your NetScreen Firewall and have software version 5.x or greater on your NetScreen.

If your not reviewing your firewall logs on a regular basis it's time to get started! Reviewing the logs is another way of "knowing what your network is doing."
