Maintenance includes bandwidth utilization and error checks for quality of service. Any circuit, which is "down", is paged to NewNet 66 personnel and action is taken with the appropriate Telco provider. NewNet 66 uses anR3000 Gigabit Enterprise UNIX server filtering solution from 8e6 Technologies providing each school district the ability to control filtering tailored to their specific requirements. The filtering servers are located at our Network Operations Center in Claremore, OK. District administrators may log into the filtering server from a workstation in their school district and turn off, turn on, add, or delete specific categories and urls giving the district total control and flexibility over what is filtered. Control of the filtering may be done by IP subnet or individual IP address. All access to the content filter is logged for security.
